LOStheULTRAMAR

LOStheULTRAMAR is a project that seeks to recover human archaeology in several ways: share, confront and establish a dialogue of all beings towards the Other: the companion, the enemy, the collectivity, space, the forest, the street, the building, the city.They travel the world and its spaces. Their appearance emerges from the tribal, from congregating, from getting together to celebrate life despite the ills of the world, and survive them. They represent a modern tribe, product of a globalized world.

LOStheULTRAMAR present themselves as creatures that seemingly combine contradictory traits, extreme insecurity and unbearable courtesy. They represent the alienated man, product of our contemporary history and the digital age. When you encounter the LOStheULTRAMAR it is difficult to know what you are actually feeling, whether you are feeling entertained, embarrassed or willing to join them. Their appearance speaks for itself: they wear dark suits, shoes in which you can see their toes and instead of headbands they wear on their heads an industrial aluminum protective shields. Protection that evolved into crowns.

Foco alAire productions is co-directed by Marcela Sanchez Mota and Octavio Zeivy. They have joined their experience and scenic language in a unique proposal and are researching with the emphasis in body interpretation. Their pieces Idea de una Pasión, LOStheULTRAMAR (National Prize 2012 in México) and laAUDICIÓN were performed many times and received special recognitions and invitations.

The performance is accompanied by live music performed by musicians of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic.
